From the peak of an idea to brilliant reality
2018
The idea is born
The inspiration for our mountain lamp came from a passion for mountaineering and dissatisfaction with existing options on the market. We envisioned a lamp that would provide both atmospheric lighting and reading light.
2020
Product development
Our first prototypes were cast from resin – a process that ultimately proved to be inefficient and not market-ready. Despite the challenges, it was an important step in our journey. At that time, we also tested our branding for the first time on the fully designed wooden casing using our first laser engraver.
2024
Material experiments
We tested various PLA materials for 3D printing, experimenting with different compositions, printing temperatures, and layer heights to find the optimal combination of resolution, stability, and light transmission. This careful optimization was crucial for developing a durable and aesthetically pleasing lamp.

Optimization of the production process
In parallel, we have developed special software to optimize the 3D printing process and enable resource-efficient on-demand production. We also use a CNC machine that enables precise and efficient production of the wooden frames.

Development of the wooden base
The wooden base was carefully designed for efficient production using CNC machines. It was important to us that the base be crafted from a single piece to ensure consistent grain and color. The wood comes from sustainable forestry and is sanded and oiled by hand.

Ultimate perfection
After years of development, we've created the perfect mountain lamp: dimmable, with a pleasant light color, and versatile. Now we need your support to start production with the first 10 mountain designs! In the future, we want to offer not only individual regions and personalized lamps, but also battery-operated versions for even more flexibility. With your support, we can make this dream a reality.

FAQs
When will the lamp be delivered?
Once we see that the Kickstarter campaign is successful, we will begin production of your pre-orders. Delivery is planned within 3-4 weeks of the campaign's end, but no later than 6 weeks.
Can I choose a custom mountain region for the lamp?
Yes, if you back us on Kickstarter and we reach our goal, there will definitely be an option to customize your mountain. Check out our stretch goal on Kickstarter.
What color light does the lamp have?
The lamp emits a warm, yellowish light that creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
Why is there no plug included?
For environmental reasons, we decided not to include a USB-C connector, as most people already have plenty of unused connectors at home. This allows us to save unnecessary materials and conserve valuable resources. If you need a connector, you can easily and inexpensively purchase one from retailers.
